Overview of Ultra-low air consumption PSA Nitrogen Production

Ultra-low air consumption Pressure swing adsorption (PSA) nitrogen generator is a new type of high-tech equipment, which has the advantages of low equipment cost, save energy, simple operation, easy maintenance, convenient and fast nitrogen production, ultra-low air consumption, more economical than other nitrogen supply methods, low operating costs, fast on-site nitrogen production,convenient switching, and no pollution. The PSA nitrogen production equipment produced by our company is widely used as protective gas in metal heat treatment processes, gas for chemical industry production and nitrogen purification of various storage tanks and pipelines, gas for rubber and plastic products production, oxygen removal and preservation packaging in the food industry, purification and covering gas in the beverage industry, nitrogen filling and oxygen removal packaging and containers in the medical and pharmaceutical industry, and protective gas for electronic components and semiconductor production processes in the electronic industry. Purity, flow rate, and pressure are stable and adjustable to meet the needs of different customers.


Working principle of ultra-low air consumption PSA nitrogen production

Ultra-low air consumption pressure swing adsorption air separation nitrogen production (PSA nitrogen production) is an advanced gas separation technology that uses high-quality(imported) carbon molecular sieve (CMS) as an adsorbent, and uses the principle of pressure swing adsorption (PSA) at room temperature to separate air and produce high-purity nitrogen gas.

The diffusion rates of oxygen and nitrogen gas molecules on the surface of molecular sieves are different. Gas molecules with smaller diameters (O2) have a faster diffusion rate, while more enter the micro pores of carbon molecular sieves.Gas molecules with larger diameters (N2) have a slower diffusion rate and fewer enter the micro pores of carbon molecular sieves. The selective adsorption difference between nitrogen and oxygen using carbon molecular sieves results in the enrichment of oxygen in the adsorption phase and nitrogen in the gas phase in a short period of time. In this way, oxygen and nitrogen are separated to obtain the gas phase enriched nitrogen under PSA conditions. The adsorption law of carbon molecular sieve for oxygen can be summarized as "high-pressure adsorption,low-pressure desorption".


The requirements for compressed air for ultra-low air consumption PSA nitrogen production host are as follows

The PSA carbon molecular sieve nitrogen production device generally consists of three parts: tank body, pipeline valves, and electrical control cabinet. Specifically,it includes chassis, air buffer tank, nitrogen process tank, adsorption tower, carbon molecular sieve, gas distribution system, compression device, pneumatic valve,solenoid valve, one-way valve, filter pressure reducing valve and other valves, PLC controller, high-efficiency muffler, gas analyzer, flow meter, pressure gauge and other instruments, as well as connecting pipelines and other accessories.
